Post subject:  Proposed Trip
Contemplating this trip.....It is a counter clockwise circle starting in greeley co with stops marked with yellow.. Its not drive 1000 mi/day just relax and smell the roses... Try to find karaoke at every stop (note the stops are close to folks on this forum)

 Chuck Gigi and gang
 Keith
 Memphis (I think there is 2 or 3 here close to Memphis)
 Branson
 Matt
 Babs
 Home (maybe)


Like I say its not go go go if you are along this route between yellow markers give a holler.........Everything is tentative for now but in 3 or 4 weeks will be put in motion...
Anybody want to go along?

Hey, I was gonna ask you, since you're not too awfully far from there (about 12-14 hours I think for you) :

Do you ever go to the National Old Time Fiddlers contest & festival in Weiser Idaho? It's every year, the 3rd full week of June. I haven't been in about 3 years, but I'm dying to go again..... I figured that might be something you attend, since you like that kind of music.

If not.... you're missing out. It's not the contest that is so great, but the campgrounds, the way we all sit around (literally, hundreds of musicians) and play music all night, every night. Groups form all over, people from all over the country... it's something you'd have fun at.

Well I been known to head West wen I should be going East Thats the story of my life LOL I want to make that trip too to see you odie lon and others Maybe next summer if I sell a couple of acres I dont know if I can afford this one LOL

Well, if you DO decide to head west.... plan it for the end of June, and meet me in Weiser. Really. I'll give ya my cell phone (providing I have one at that time)  :roll: .... then we can make sure we hook up. You'd LOVE it there.....

Well, since I quit ma job...... I don't have one. Really. Can't afford it right now.

Heck, couldn't afford this trip if my dad-in-law wasn't footing the bill. (we're going to move him from so cal to no cal....) It's not really a pleasure trip, just one we gotta take.

But if I had one, I'd give it to ya.... I've given it out before. Well, only to one person, but still....

There is a show by Marty3 that is a member here too. He is maybe 3 miles down the road from me.
He is there on most Thursdays. If you wanted to you could hit Marty on Thursday and
then me on Friday.

They PM'd me. I had a website for a short while. It was more just for
the fun of it. I don't really need one. The people that come to my show are local
and I am there the same nights all the time, so it wasn't necessary.

Times:  Wednesday nights 8pm - 12am
           Friday nights   9pm - 2am  
   most Saturday nights 9pm - 2am ( there is a band possibly once a
                                                        on Saturdays only)

I go past the closing time frequently depending on the crowd.

if you hit Ft. Worth, you HAVE to hit P-ville!  it's only  another couple of hours south!  you'll wanna come visit after i post pics of next weekend with the Ft. Worth crew on hand!
