Ok, so crapy singers, yet again.  And even the good ones, few and FAR between still have a problem.

I dunno, maybe it is just me, but does it not sound like a majority of the under 25 y.o. singers sing throught thier noses?  Who the heck are they trying to emulate?  WHere did this come from?  THe more and more I  listen to the younger singser on TV and at karaoke, a buch are really nasal.

I have noticed the very same thing, and I can't stand that sound.  If you are trying to sound like Willie Nelson then that's one thing...But that nasily pop style or whatever you call it....does nothing but annoy the heck out of me!!!!

I think that was a late 80's early to mid 90's thing or late 90's thing...Heck I can't remember, but it seems like some of the boy bands started some of that crap.  I could be wrong as I can't remember who started it, all I know is it sounds awful to me.

To me it sounds like someone whinning as they have that nasily sound going on "up and down a musical scale" ....if thats what you call it...  LMAO

Actually, I watched last night!  And, I noticed something odd too.. Like, everyone kinda "squeezes" out their notes... like a whiney, "i am having an orgasm" kinda odd sound... Is that in? But, I hear you on the nasal thing:) (But, then, I SING all Nasal TOO:)

I have pleaded with Gilly in the past to keep posting her recordings...and the reply I always got was....I don't record anymore but thanks. ;)

Keep trying though...maybe she will listen to someone other than me.  :)
