Come over here to the Ft. Lauderdale, FL area. There are great hotels for your anniversary, amazing restaurants, and you don't have to freeze your rear end off! Oh, and there is my show if you're here on a Friday nite..... Seriously, there are shows every night around here, and at this time of the year we are the only place with weather better than you guys..... |

San Francisco without a doubt. You can get the 70 degree weather without the 90% humidity. Besides, ask Gigi about the Karaoke place she went to. :D |

Florida is looking really good about right now and I just love Florida....Where is Man in Black's show?? Perhaps I can be a super person and hit multiple shows while I am there... I gotta go start checking on flights and hotels...... Eben, Gigi and Chuck will be back in San Fran in April or March.. They have bee trying to talk us into going too.. I am still thinking about it..... And would someone PM me or IM me as to what is going on here... Why is it so quiet?? Why are people leaving when there doesn't seem to be anything going on??? Am I just blind |

Go to Vegas. There is a ton of things to do there. Not to mention Karaoke 7 nights a week at Imperial Place and Ellis Island. I'm sure there are other places but those are the 2 place I go when I'm there. |

Slander towards my city, I say!! Don't fib to the woman!! :O :O Here is the current 10-day forecast for San Francisco: http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/v ... arch_10day Followed by Saint Petersburg: http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/v ... arch_10day You'll notice that San Francisco is not currently offering ANY days in the 70s (mostly in the 40s and 50s), while Saint Petersburg offers MOST days in the high 70s. Further research also shows that the average humidity in San Francisco this time of year is 67%, while the average humidity in Saint Petersburg this time of yaer is 47% (it is only humid here in the summer, about 5 months out of the year, actually!!!). So, sounds like a no-brainer to me!! To borrow from my buddy in San Fran -- come down to FL, where you'll get 30 degrees warmer weather without all of the humidity in San Fran!! |

I know that there are three KJs from this board in Orlando, FL, one in Ocala, FL, and one in Gainesville, FL. I THINK that MIB is the one in Gainesville. But those are all landlocked cities. If you come to FL you certainly want to be near the beach, right? |

Well, here we currently are just beginning the Fur Rendezvous complete with dog sled racing, skiing, grand prix on ice, etc. The temps would be a definite change of pace for you too; 0 to 15 deg. F (encourages staying in bed with your mate ![]() BTW Man in Black is in Tennessee north of Chattanooga. Dave |

![]() BTW Man in Black is in Tennessee north of Chattanooga. Dave I have to say that one of the most fun places I have done karaoke was in Anchorage ....July 4th 2005. It was at a bar across the street from the Hilton we were staying at before we headed out on our cruise. LOVED IT. Love the people, loved the town, loved the state!!!!! |

All wonderful ideas.. Still thinking and looking for good deals... Yeah i thought Maninblack was in FL too... Cause he speaks of the marina.. I looked him up on mapquest and he is pretty far out there!!! Not reall close to much of anything but water.... Great arguement there for St petersburg.... Isn't Mr October around there somewhere??? But then I think he is like a one man show thing and not really a KJ or something... I am not sure... I'll have to find out... |

hey hey. you could always go down to marathon key in florida. it is so cool! I did see karaoke there but didn't go. maybe a little far just for the weekend though since not so near a major airport, although there is a small airport in Marathon. a great place to look is Travel Zoo. go to the top20 list and check out the deals. they know what is good and what isn't, they do the deal sifting really well. have fun :D |

I can do the *breakfast in bed* thing too. :D Of course, mine would consist of all those fattening southern foods like eggs, hash browns (crispy on the outside, nice n' moist on the inside), bacon, sausage, pancakes with peach/pecan topping, home made yeast biscuits with sausage gravy, honeydew melon & sliced tomatoes on the side, and whatever else you little love birds desire. Heck, strip dance while ya eat? Sure:) I can arrange that too. hahaha Nah, for real... You have to get up here one of these days. Tammy and Bob are SuPpOsEd to make it out this summer, if all goes well.... how cool would it be if you came at the same time? We'd set this town aflame, or die trying. . |
