http://www.cmt.com/shows/dyn/born-count ... sode.jhtml I caught the last half hour. It was about karaoke moms, they were competing in a contest to go to a national finals. All I have to say is if THOSE were their best...OMG! The one chick sang Independence Day so off key I was cringing & she came in 2nd. The other gal sang Broken Wing & took first even missing a couple parts at the end. It was a joke, & can understand why many go off on how contests suck. Unfortunately they didn't show the other 3 contestants from the top 5...would be curious. |

the thing I always hate about shows like this and American Idol... they show the "sensationalists"... not the REALLY good singers. There's a guy here in KC that's tried out for American Idol like seven or eight times... actually got some attention when he kept going for it. He's a terrific singer, and a good showman. Just not "THEIR" idea of really good or apparently really bad. Not enough to warrent a place on the shows. |
