I just recieved an email stating that I have a warning steming from a ban vote. I have no doubt that this is a retaliatory action, a ban vote from a certain poster that I have reported or voted for a ban myself, a theory reinforced by the fact that the poster chose an innoccuous post (asking Matt if he remembered a gag on anotheer forum) from which to click the ban vote button.
I hope that this an automatic [quote]response, that no moderator was involved. Therfore I request that this warning be reviewed by a moderator, and the warning then be removed from my record here. I have violated NO rules here. I invite any moderator to contact me about this. There is at least one moderator here, and several longstanding members, that have known me online for a decade now, that will vouch for my online conduct.
I feel that I may have found a new home here. It's wonderful to see so many old friends, that I feared that I had lost due to the shutdown of the JOLT forum; and it is just as wonderful to have already made so many new friends here.
Thank you. I trust that, after review, you'll do the right thing, and remove the black mark from my new, and justifiably spotless to date, record.

Smitty, you are not alone. There's a thread in the "off topic" forum where a few others are commenting on how retalitory bans are being sent to people who were otherwise NOT negative to this individual. I find it abhorant that this type of behavior is going on!

I fail to see where I was doing anything wrong.

Frankly I didn't think that this person was smart enough to find it. However it does show you how immature this individual is.

Retaliatory Ban votes are just plain "Wrong" in my book and I for one would like it removed from my records. Unless of course someone can give me a good reason why I deserve it in the first place. Then I will abide by the vote.

Well I got my wrist slapped as well, however I think he went way over & beyond what is acceptable as far as terms of service here with the "CHILDISH & RETALITIVE" ban votes that EVERYONE & ANYONE seemed to have recieved.

No, I tried that repeatedly. For some reason I repeatedly received the following message, "You can not ban yourself, obviously you have unresolved issues".

(must've been some technical glitch preventing the feature from working, I wonder if this site ever resolved that)
