I haven't been ONLINE for a few days, and I just noticed that he FORUM has a new look to it.
I miss that I can't hold my cursor over a topic thread and see a snippet of the most recent post (without having to actually go into that thread).

I miss the fact that I could see at a glance which sub forums had new posts and go to only those. Now I have to look through ALL the new posts. There are some forums I don't bother with and now I'm forced to sort through them. I'm finding it to be a bit of a pain and I can predict that I'll be spending far less time here because of it. I just don't have the time to sort through so many posts that are of no consequence to me. Sorry if I sound harsh, but that's just my reality.

I feel your pain too Cue and Diafel...kinda sux you can't see snippets of posts anymore!
Where did the anti-piracy discussion go? Ugh...i may need glasses this year!
The forum looks better but is harder to navigate it appears...Phil will fix it i'm sure if we suggest it. Aloha!

I just get to the point where I'm too frustrated to bother and I give up and go do something else. I just don't have the time to waste anymore. Bummer, because there were some good, informative conversations on here. Now I can't find them and don't have the time to spend looking for them.

I miss that I can't hold my cursor over a topic thread and see a snippet of the most recent post (without having to actually go into that thread). I brought that up to Phil as I used it as well. If it can be re-instated he will make it so, however it may be an 'upgraded' feature that may no exist anymore.

I miss that I can't hold my cursor over a topic thread and see a snippet of the most recent post (without having to actually go into that thread). Cueball - I am working on re-adding that feature. I just have my hands full with so many other site related problems. diafel wrote: I miss the fact that I could see at a glance which sub forums had new posts and go to only those. In the previous layout there wasn't "sub-forums." There is an easier way to see what forums have new posts. Click one of the licks near the top of the page: “View unanswered posts • View unread posts • View new posts • View active topics” Also each forum, sub-forum or thread is clearly marked whether there are new posts within. Additional note: You can now bookmark or subscribe to a topic if you want to have fast access. cueball wrote: Now... where are the archived discussions? Cueball - I integrated the “Archives” back into the Discussion Forums for ease of search, as well as, cutting down on the amount of forums displayed.

I dislike the new lower number of posts per page. I prefer 25 or more.

mckyj57 - I modified that because of complaints from several members regarding having to scroll when using a laptop, PDA, SmartPhone etc. It is easier to click to the next page. I have however reset this to 20 posts per page

What I'm referring to is that when I click on "View unread posts", I also get the posts from the singer's forum, announcements, comments, suggestions, and the Lounge in there. I generally don't read those particular forums and so I'm having to sort through too much stuff to get to what I really want. I preferred the old way where the particular forums where highlighted so you could immediately see if there where new posts, and then, when you went in, unread posts were also highlighted. The way it is now takes far too much time to try and figure out what I've read or in the alternative, what I would like to read (having to sort through the other, unwanted subforun posts). I much preferred to read a category and then move to another, not have them all lumped in together.

I am sorry that you feel that way, although I am a bit confused. As this forum system is much improved over the previous. IMHO

The links to the forums on all the Karaoke Scene pages are taking me back to the Karaoke Scene home page for some reason. This is the link on the homepage. http://www.karaokescene.com/forums/{edit}Ah, the WWW is the culprit.
