I have had a complaint from a few members that they are experiencing connection problems. I have tested the site in multiple browsers and it is functioning in all. The server is up and running without any trouble. I wanted to know if anyone else had experienced these type of issues lately. Obviously, if you can't connect you will not be able to answer. However, I want to know if anyone who is able to now had troubles recently. This way maybe I can narrow down the situation. I believe it may be a network connection or even a local area problem. Thank you - |

I get problems .. I try to connect and google chrome reports its a dns error if i clear the cache and refresh it will work This doesnt happen with any other site and i am at a loss as why. I found that if i went to crosswebs site then client portfolio then clicked the link to this site it would come up with the site but a 404 error then the site would work without clearing the cache. weird i know i am based in the UK if that makes any difference |

It has always taken me two or three tries to get onto this site. It will say "connection problem." We are in a remote location on satellite if that makes a difference. |

Our problem is similar to Rob's although the actual screen is "Internet Explorer cannot display the web page." Refreshing works rarely. Sometimes it takes two or three tries to get on. Other times I just have to go away for a bit and try it later. But we tend to blame our satellite for that sort of thing. Except it mainly just happens with this site. |

that could be anything from you internet provider to the antivirus suite, adware/malware software, or even your windows firewall. your problem is pretty common amoung a lot of people. make sure you don't have multiple installs of different antivirus software installed, like expired version of norton and then installed a free antivirus. avg - avast and others in the last couple years started including all the bells and whistles that cause issues with memory.. these suite version's take over firewall functions and have multiple programs running in the background slowing your system down. i would start with disabling your windows firewall or any firewall that comes with your antivirus suite's. then try to connect to your website your having issues with. i had this issue until i removed norton security suite, and install microsoft security essentials. problem went away. but it happened to a lot of other site including karaoke scene. microsoft security essentials is basic and get's rid of all the memory resident programs that sit in the background and hog your memory. and its free! |
