Several asked for some assistance with this particular situation.  I'm not certain how wide-spread this particular issue is, however it doesn't appear to be a situation correctible by the affected individuals tweaking their settings from within their control panel.

  Phill,  any ideas ?

I am trying to determine what the problem is.

I have had an email and PMs from Cinderella regarding this.

I want to be certain that everyone does in fact have permission and has purchased the right to have an avatar (through the Forum Shop)

This may be the first place to search.

Second, I want to make certain that everyone is uploading either .gif or .jpg images that meet the size and dimension restrictions.

Let me know these then I will see if I can figure out why only a few people are having this problem. I unfortunately (or fortunately) am not and cannot replicate th eerror in order to resolve.

I found out why mine wasn't showing up....I somehow clicked "delete avatar"  I am technically challenged at times - Tonya

JUST FOR CLARIFICATION:

The image that is placed next to all comments in SS is taken from the image provided in the forums.  

Make certain that you have paid via Forum Shop >> Special F/X to have an avatar.

If you are a paid SS member your payment is basically for the space used to store your submissions. Not anything special with the Forums, although you do receive a few extra bonusses in SS a Profile Image and Bio.

There isn't anything wrong that I can find. It is a glitch that only a few people are experiencing. I cannot determine where the problem is because I cannot replicate the error. In order to fix something I need to know where it is broken.

If anyone can show me where the error is I will certainly repair - however as far as I can tell only a few people are experiencing this problem and so far only  a few have said anything about it.

Again, if I don't know where the "GLITCH" is I cannot FIX!

Sorry but I am trying!

Ahhh, I think I figured it out.........There is a little tab in your profile that asks if your human (not a spambot).....I had it marked no, changed it to yes and everything works great..

I notice that a few members are still experiencing the strange "missing Avatar" problem.

Please note:

1) First, you must have purchase the ability to postan avatar. Forum Shop >> Special F/X

2) You must upload an image that meets the requirements.

3) Make certain to select that you are HUMAN! This is a SPAMBOt setting...

Do not click delete image.
