"The Florida case is only the second Sound Choice Trademark infringement case to reach the “Case Closed” stage in the court system. In the first case earlier this year, the judge awarded Sound Choice $150,000 against multi-system operator Debbie Simmons, d/b/a Karaoke Fever, in Phoenix." According to that Judge’s Order
“The United States Marshal is authorized and ordered to seize all such data storage devices belonging to Simmons, wherever they may be found, and to enter onto private property belonging to Simmons for the purpose of locating all such data storage devices. After thirty (30) days following the delivery or seizure of any such data storage devices, unless extended by a court of competent jurisdiction over this matter, the United States Marshal shall cause the seized data storage devices to be destroyed, and shall certify the destruction of same to the Court.”"

I guess if the data storage devices are destroyed, that takes care of all of the other brands, also. Interesting development.

c. staley wrote: Boilerplate language. And your point is ????? If it is part of the Judge's order, as stated, and it encompasses what the judge wishes to state in the order, then there is no problem at all with using pre-written text. Happens all the time. You should know... you use it on every post you make!

c. staley wrote: It was not carefully crafted and worded specifically for this lawsuit.... Really? You know that for a fact? Then what lawsuit was it "carefully crafted and worded" for? Some other case with a defendant named Simmons whose data storage devices the judge has ordered destroyed? It appears your comment that the order as quoted is "boilerplate language" is nothing more than a feeble attempt at detracting from the fact that a judge has ordered the seizure and destruction of Simmons' data storage devices. If the point you were really attempting to make is that the snippet of the order as quoted, taken out of context as it is, does not specifically define "such data storage devices", then I would agree. One can only determine that by reading the entire order of the judge.

Of course c. staley has a PACER account to find, and read, the judges entire order which would give c. staley the absolute truth instead of speculation. Only 8 cents a page. A sound, and intelligent, investment.

Ho hum.... stir, stir, stir... I really don't have the time or the desire to explain it to you. Look it up, ask an attorney do whatever YOU need to do to satisfy YOUR need. I'm not spoon-feeding what you so far have refused to do on your own. Don't believe a word I say - please don't - (happy now?)

c. staley wrote: Get a pacer account and find out for yourself. I refuse to take orders from you. You don't have the authority on this forum to make demands of me or anyone else on this forum. That is the privilege of the moderators, whom I have way more respect for. I have no need to search for information using my Pacer account in order to provide an answer that you clearly cannot. For without that answer, your statement remains baseless and unsupported, which only reiterates what I have said in regards to that statement. c. staley wrote: I'm not spoon-feeding what you so far have refused to do on your own. And what is it that I have refused to do other than be ordered around by you?(see above) Just another baseless false statement from you! c. staley wrote: Don't believe a word I say - please don't Now, that is good advice. Somewhat axiomatic, but good advice nevertheless. Perhaps you should add that as a quote in your signature.

Nope! Not ranting at all. I leave that department to you, diafel. Just stating facts and opinions. You may wish to re-read my first paragraph in the post you quoted.

The fact that you stated," I refuse to take orders from you", says a lot. No one was "ordering" you to do anything. Like I said, take a chill.
