It isn't that Vista can't work. It can. It isn't like it is completely unfit for purpose. It is just a bad operating system which a lot of people got burned on. Microsoft also did something very deceptive, creating a "Vista Ready" campaign which Dell, HP, and others used to sell hardware that in point of fact really couldn't run Vista with its very heavy memory requirements.

I don't "act" like the users that "got burned" are the problem here.
"Haters gonna hate"? That certainly implies that there is no reason for the animosity and lack of trust -- that it is simple prejudice and ignorance talking. I assure you that is not the case.
Part of it might be this prejudice -- I hate the expression "haters".

It certainly was not meant as a personal attack on any individual or their comments or their experience. It was
merely in jest and a response to:
"Bah! Haters! If you are running Vista, let me know and I can help tweak things and make it a more enjoyable experience for you."
I didn't cause your problems anyway... I'm a solutions guy
I was lucky enough to avoid the problems by listening to the "haters" and managing things to avoid buying Vista computers as much as was possible in my business. We made a last-minute XP purchase, and waited for Windows 7, wherever possible.
