It was just recently they (SAT) are now affiliates with PCDJ. That may have something to do with why they no longer carry Karaoke Channel tracks.

Wrong end, except maybe then it was Tyrannosoft, not TriceraSoft.. I told you who to contact- Toqer, and maybe Rob (Joker) as well.

Also, no one here doubts that SC's product was available for download on the Dopi site...

That's great, but don't just put down they (Tricerasoft) sold SC downloads, have some facts beforehand before you claim them as fact. Just because another unauthorized source sold them (and claimed they had authorization like any unauthorized source) that sounded like Tricerasoft, don't mean anything.

Did they sell Karaoke Channel for a short bit? In my mind that would be Stingray and not SC... Is that maybe the source of confusion here?

Toqer (Robert from 7Bamboo) is a distributor/affiliate that sells from various sources, he has his own experiences with them and it is none of our business nor connected to our relationship, it is [b]ONLY[/b] between them - if you need clarification you contact Toqer direct - in NO WAY was SC content sourced from us. Lonman you are correct, and you can see through the words of the competitor and you understand what a non-exclusive distributor/affiliate is. Apparently others do not, and they make false accusations online without getting facts straight, and I remind them that slander and defamation is legally binding.

Oh and, Brian, the update database is a naming database (for renaming titles), like CDDB and FreeDB. You should probably ask us what that is before making false assumptions.

As an aside to this, since you are here, is there any truth to these rumors that have been posted that you and the other UK sellers may have to shut us out in the future? Have you heard anything about this?

Lon, please re-read my post. I actually said "T-soft". The fact that Tricerasoft replied should not be an attribution to be made to me, which is what you have done.

I also never claimed that they were authorized, though Toqer did, and also that he had utilized them, which is why I said to contact him for verification.


Correction: I just went back and read my reply, which was worded badly enough to indicate that I meant Tricerasoft. I will edit it. My sincere apologies to both Tricerasoft and to Lon for my error- it was unintended.

Don't know anything about their integrity, good or bad- I only know about mine. I screwed up and have to own it. Just the way it is.

It doesn't matter if it's you or somebody else, I just try to throw some light -heartedness into things....guess that's the only game I have, but it's not personal, only acts of what I see as an opportunity......but what's with the Vinyl?.....personally I think you mean well, but you paint yourself into a corner, and you tend to walk over the wet paint to get out....

I keep confusing Johnny with Vinyl Spinner from an older forum.
