Again, I take issue with anyone who speaks in absolute terms and with a voice of authority who is not in that position, and then does so in a disparaging manner. That tone should be able to be avoided in conversing about these things. Receiving something as an attack, assuming something IS an attack, when that person is not the subject of the attack, is a bit misguided. Passive Aggressive much? Yes, congratulations on your excellent detective work, uncovering what we already knew. doowhatchulike wrote: Oh, one quick CORRECTION: according to kjflorida, kjflorida is NOT kjathena, but is kjathena's husband. Read quick & missed that. Edited.

Since they are closed today, and assuming they will not be open all weekend, the earliest the "Next 1200" can be released is April 1, and unless I am missing it, there is no updated info on this...

So what! Many manufacturing companies miss their target date for some reason or another.

The Reason The Release of the New Emerald and Sapphire has been delayed is because rights are trying to be nailed down for changes that were made in the list. I called (Or Emailed) about 60 KJ's Scattered throughout Oregon, California, Washington, Idaho and Nevada (20 in Oregon alone) to ask what they and their customers would like to see in the New GEM releases. I had to Get their Requests and make a database based on popularity (Example: 17 KJ's Said they wanted to see Black velvet in the set So it went to the top of the list.) I went to Kurt and Said Sound Choice Needed to take these Requests into Account to Make the GEM series a More Powerful Set of Music To have.
I received Over 1200 Song Title Requests. Only Songs that At Least 3 KJ requested made the list. If I had taken Every request I would have had a lot more than 1200 songs in this list.
I narrowed the list down to the Top 30 Songs I felt were most important to a KJ in General and they are currently trying to obtain the rights to these songs.
So, I guess it's kind of My fault. sorry everyone. but there were a lot of good, solid necessary standards left out of the original 6000 GEM set. I just wanted to see Kurt release some of the top songs that were missing from that. Songs that we can't buy from sound choice anymore because they were unable to renew the rights before now.
