You are not going to get any disagreement from me Bazza. It makes little difference really if a host has been in business long enough to recoup the initial cost of the disc. The only possible value to the disc is for insurance against a suit by one of the legal process manus. If these legal process suits disappeared I think you would see what little value the discs currently have would collapse even more. I totally agree with you on the concept that any host who is thinking this is something they can cash in on at a later time, like stocks or bonds, are just kidding themselves. I can see where hosts that are sitting on large piles of discs would be supporting the legal process. It is the only way they can keep some value to an obsolete information storage system.
