I may get in trouble(for this), but I am merely trying to get across a very similar message that Clark Griswold's family got across to his boss after Cousin Eddie brought him home!
"Hey. If any of you are looking for any last-minute gift ideas for me, I have one. I'd like Kurt Slep and Jim Harrington, right here tonight. I want em brought from his happy holiday slumber over there on Melody Lane with all the other rich people and I want him brought right here...with a big ribbon on his head! And I want to look him straight in the eye, and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-assed, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed, sack of monkey (@$%!) he is! Hallelujah! Holy (@$%!)! Where's the Tylenol?"
Merry Christmas to all. Except those two!

Sounds like you got caught with your hand in the SoundChoice cookie Jar. It's ok to vent though, this is a good place for it. Get it all out. Please do keep in mind one thing though, You must be able to define the difference between and "A$$ Ol'e" & "A hole in the ground" Remember that you can not put your arm around a hole in the ground.

Don't let anything bother you, nor your past. Let it all go and start fresh. They are a company and they follow guidelines. We are human.
Speaking of new Companies and starting fresh. I received an email from KARAOQ360. Check it out, it may be right up your alley.

The portion of my (annual) income from doing karaoke in two or three bars a week was around $23,000 give or take. Yes, I do pay taxes, so deduct a third, but for fun... let's just say that is my take home. Pep suing caused three of my venues to cease doing business with me. Mind you, only two of my bars got sued. The other was just scared. Anyway, I took a hit for the last six months plus paid an attorney a bit. Pretty much cut it in half. I am having a hard time letting this go, as in not a personal thing. Difficult!

Keep in mind they didn't notify the KJ nor did they contact him at all before suing the venues. Their "audit agreement" is pure crapola and completely unnecessary anyway. So they made sure that the KJ lost his jobs first. And that's what happens when you hire attorneys on contingency But that's okay with Harrington and Slep... they don't give a Shhhhh

As you know, I don't generally comment on pending cases, and I'm certainly not going to speak to the OP directly. But we can talk about the audit process generally, and in this case, the defendant was repeatedly offered an audit. Should we simply take someone's word that they have 1:1 correspondence?

What was I thinking? I mean, who wouldn't willingly bend over if someone suggested a strong likelihood that they would sodomize (you)?

1) Every disc SC ever made includes a warning not to copy the contents without permission.
2) An operator who plays from a hard drive copied the contents of discs (at best) without permission.
3) If, through the audit process, you prove you had 1:1 correspondence all along, and just failed to get permission, we will drop the suit anyway, even though we don't have to, since you didn't follow the rules.
Tell me what part of that is unfair.

I realize there are extra costs involved if it gets to the point of 'forcing' an audit, but in my opinion, a gesture of good will by offering a partial refund for anyone who passes an audit by 100% would go a long way -James

Since 'Tis the season to be jolly, let’s take a break from arguing for a whole week then at start of the New Year, let’s carry on business as usual and resume the normal 'tear down the other guy & rip him a new a**h*le'. Likewise, do the same to the other! I'll be on the sidelines! But meanwhile, rest ye merry gentlemen & have a very Merry Christmas! Attachment:

Do you know what I think is really neat? Almost everyone has said "Merry Christmas" and not the PC "Happy Holidays". Keep the tradition alive.

I find it amusing that stores love to make money from Christmas, putting up banners & ads about their Christmas sales, but yet tell their employees to say Happy Holidays to their customers. My wife work as a cashier at a big dept store chain & every shift they are reminded to say the pc greeting ‘happy holidays’. Bah Humbug!

In my years of working retail, I have always (unprompted) greeted customers with ''Happy Holidays.'' Not done out of a P.C. sense of obligation, but as an inclusive, sincere gesture of glad tidings to a stranger, not knowing if they were Jewish, Athiest, a fellow Christian, or what have you. ''Happy Holidays" has just always felt like an all encompassing, good will tiding.
