I am fairly certain that Sasquatch/Yeti/Abominable Snowman/Bigfoot are real. We may not have actually have gone to the moon. I know for a fact I haven't. As far as saving young boys, certainly send me $100 from each email sent out. I will gladly donate 10% to Boys Club of America! Why does every topic on here seem to get personal? Mature adults can carry on conversations, discuss issues, without resorting to juvenial name calling! You don't have to agree, but it is a bit ridiculous that we need to monitor the actions of adults. The KS forums are for the discussion of subjects regarding karaoke. They can be fun, entertaining and educational. They are not for people to bash one another verbally. Please refer to the forum rules.

I know of no such things, obviously. And neither does he. PHiLL wrote: Why does every topic on here seem to get personal? Or is it there no problem with a Mature Adult saying "I heard that XXX is going to happen to XXX" as long as you say "Admittedly only a rumor" afterwards?

Got it. Nice double standard.
Are you talking about hearsay/rumor/gossip about Sound Choice? They are an industry player. As in my previous example, lots of uncharitable speculation, gossip, and rumor are posted about George Soros, the Koch Brothers, and Walmart. I am sure not all of it is deserved. But since they are industry players, there is a double standard. They are fair game where individuals are not. If you are talking about posting about individuals, report the post. I bet the mods will do something.

(Admittedly only a rumor) Hey, the worst publicity is no publicity. Now we have a chance to defend Sound Choice. If there is silence, that can't happen.... I am a fan of Sound Choice karaoke, and I see nothing wrong with their legal approach. I don't like the idea of pre-emptive lawsuits without significant suspicion. I would like to think that my 12,000 title library would be the last thing they would think about suing. If they are suing mostly the people who trumpet "I have 85,000 songs and my 2TB drive is almost full", and dismissing the thought of someone like me who runs a show with a 120GB drive, then I really have no argument. If they bopped into my show, saw a computer and a Sound Choice Foundation song playing, then sued me based on nothing more, I would be angry.

Just today I saw a FB post from another host in my area boasting "We have 140,000 songs!". I joined the discussion and said "Wow! That must have cost you well over $30,000!". No response.

By the Way, Sasquatch is still mad at you, NASA has you on their hit list, you cannot save a little boy's life by forwarding e-mails. You can however "enhance a little boy's life" simply by sending him money. As we all know, money is not made of paper, it is made of cotton. The government prints millions of dollars of it every day – and most little boys don't have the same access to it that you and I have. So in the interest of fairness, I have taken it upon myself to be the mediator and to accept these gifts of money to forward onto the little boys. So, I will even go one step further, and provide you with a Polaroid photograph of the happiness you have created for the little boys when I hand them the money you have sent. Please forward the money as soon as possible because the holiday season is upon us, I will rush to the post office and gather stamps and envelopes and in order to send those photographs to you. With all the money you're saving on the gem series, as well as the hard disk drive from chartbuster, along with all of the new jobs that you have been able to acquire with the successful fight for piracy, there should not be a problem at all. As a matter of fact, you're probably tripping over all of that extra money you're making. I'm just here to help.

To which I replied. Diafel then replied to me. And I replied to her. Please try to keep up. That will be $10. <---That means its a joke and not a personal attack. (Edit: Oh wait, I see. I put it right up there with the Bigfoot sightings: you hear about them a lot, and periodically may even see a photograph but when it comes right down to proof and evidence, that is the teensie tiny problem.

Wow. Lot's of posts based on almost nothing. How about if I change my post to the following:?
Cavs, a company with many times more resources than what's left of SC, has- without question- initiated a lawsuit that will, if won, will completely drain SC's resources and leave them not viable as the their current corporate entity.
No rumors there.
Howzat?
How does the fact that Cavs resources are greater than SC's matter?
Example: Here in NJ, a smoking ban was put into practice which included bars and restaurants. Now, I'm not speaking for the rest of the country, but in NJ, this ban is completely illegal. In the 70s, our Supreme Court ruled that the only PUBLIC bulidings are those paid for by tqx dollars such as municipal buildings, libraries, firehouses, etc...Bars and restaurants are considered private property, like homes.
These bars and restaurants did not have the resources to fight the state government. However, the Atlantic City casinos did. Guess what? These casinos have been given special passes to have 25% of their area open to smoking- BUT that 25% is not deliniated. In other words, smoking can be anywhere in the casinos.
The government here BRIBED the casinos not to fight them by allowing smoking there. Also, the larger clubs have smoking as well- calling themselves "cigar lounges"
The point is - again JUST MY OPINION- Cavs has the financial resources to put a hurt on SC.
Is that any better?
