Regarding the question of where do you get these KK discs, have you PM'd Joe to ask him to respond to the question here? Nope I want him to answer so all can see. He answered your question and ignored all the posts requesting an answer. Did I miss something else? Is there other information that you are looking for? Some kind of secret to uncover? If you are asking if they are American-made, the answer is "no longer". They began here as SuperCore, then moved out of the U.S ( I believe to Japan, the same as DK). SC did the same, moving the library to Canada and distribution to Australia. If you are wondering about the recent ban on discs imported from the UK, that applies to distribution, not singleton KJ buys, whatever you may have heard. Either way, I don't know of ANY ban yet instituted against Japan. Is that more what you were looking for?

Lone Wolf, if I didn't answer a previous question about KK, I apologize- I probably just didn't see it. Bird Of Song is correct, the put out small sets once or twice a year, not monthly. However, those sets have VERY few clinkers, with almost ALL songs being used. I buy them online from various sources, and they can be found on E-bay as well. The one caveat is that these discs have become some of the most counterfeited out there, so you have to be careful. I would add that the counterfeits are absolutely HORRIBLE. Never buy without seeing at least a good clear pic of the disc or set holder. If the label is a single color with bold font you are looking at fakes that are made by the same folks who make fake Music Maestros, and these are the worst. The early releases had a picture of a someone singing into an "Elvis" mic, but this label got counterfeited as well, so they changed it to a close registration label with phantom print and graduating colors that are VERY hard to fake. The label will have 5 musical notes with teeth and tongues singing into a metal "Elvis" mic shown in perfect detail. The notes-left to right- are red, yellow, green, bluish/lilac, and a purple/black note raised above the others. That's the Pop set. They also make the All Country Hits label for new country releases. The country tracks are not as good as CB's best, of course- but they are way ahead of anything else, especially Stellar. Hope that helps. So I'm taking it that they CAN NOT be found in a B&M store? EBAY pictures are sometimes hard to see the info you talked about and couldn't those pictures be faked too and you get something else....Maybe you need to tell us the name of your reliable seller so the rests of us can jump on the wagon. Being that most of all the other U.S. manu's have abandoned us we need a new source. BTW is KK a U.S. company or not cuz I don't know. Guess I'll have to check them out! Thanks for replying

Thanks for replying They may well be found in a B&M karaoke store. It happens the closest one to me (still 1/2 hour away) finally closed after around 25 years due to age related illness of the owner. I would say that you would have a better chance of finding them in a karaoke store than a department store. The reason I have had trouble with giving a reliable source is that I have received both fake and real sets from the same vendors, though no one gave me a problem about returning my money. I honestly believe that there was no attempt to defraud, but simply a lck of education on the distributors. part. This is why I included all of the label information, and would add that you check the inner rings for manufacturers' codes. I COULD take a peek on E-bay and see if 1) I've dealt with any of the vendors in the past, and 2) enlarge the pics for a better visual, then make recommendations if that would help..

KK has the newest Pop (and possibly Country) updates, OR they only come out once or twice a year??? And, to reiterate the question asked.... WHERE do you get these discs from.... aside from e-bay????Various sources DOES NOT answer the question!!!

Considering how many companies come out with new music and how often, these sets are pretty current and comprehensive, even though they only come out a few times a year. Personally, I've only ever bought them off of e-bay. Be careful of your blood pressure, Cue.

i think what they are asking is are there any sources that are actual stores. like Ace Karaoke, DooWop, etc. because ebay and Amazon are the places where all the "discussions" on legal CB and DK SCDG's was about, anybody can sell anything there.

Paradigm Karaoke wrote: Second City Song wrote: ok.....what did i miss? who is this? TSC Karaoke is a legitimate business... just like Doowop Karaoke, Karaoke Warehouse, Express Karaoke, etc... As for me personally, I do not order from this place because I get charged a double whammy... Tax (because they are a business located in NY (and I live in NY)), and Shipping/Handling on top of that.

The hard stance is because you have raved about the KK brand on more than one occasion, and more than 1 person asked you where you can purchase these discs from (aside from e-bay and amazon.com (which includes individuals that probably do sell counterfeits)). Someone even mentioned the well-known vendors and stated that he hasn't seen KK carried by them. You never gave a direct answer. Quote: I buy them online from various sources, and they can be found on E-bay as well. Rather than going into a lengthy description of what the counterfeit discs look like, you could have simply stated that you don't know of any legit vendors (such as the ones we are all familiar with) who carry this brand... that you only know of places like e-bay and Amazon.com which carry KK, and then make the statement that they may be selling you a fake.

Moderators, how about closing this thread, and someone can start a thread about Karaoke Kurrents (legal or not), and where can they be found? Since this thread WAS about SCDG... Thanks...
