Everything seems to be in order as far as playback of proper requested songs. Your issue is fixed. Download and install 1.1.137 from openkj.org

Also if you look a little further down that very list you copped this image from instead of just taking the section you wanted you'd see Party Tyme is still in the top 10 at #9. Pretty good for a starting company competing with all the other UK and defunt brands that have been out for 20+ years.

And now that they lost a couple districts on those lawsuits, they are now suing venues that hire those hosts.

Great! When knet started they had about 4000 tracks. So they are coming up fast and will eventually have their entire 20K+ (probably bigger now all total because they are still actively making new tracks too) library available as well. Again you are dissing them because they won't sell to you at your terms! How many tracks does SC actively have for downloading or even streaming? Not talking the GEM because even that isn't their entire library. Also I know many 'successful' kj's that don't use any Sound Choice at all! To say a successful kj NEEDS to use any specific brand is dumb - i'm sorry. I use whatever has the song I need and if it's a decent version then I stick with it. I use SC primarily because that is what I started buying in 1994 when they started their cdg line. Over 800 cdg's. Many manufacturers are putting out comparable replacements for songs that were once exclusive to Sound Choice. If I were to do it all again, I doubt I would need SC at all with all the other manus that have great versions too.

I'm not a bully Lonman. I just like to give visitors/singers a good experience at my shows and when they request a Sybersound track it sux that I have to turn them down because I don't have it available.
When Tricerasoft was in business I used their service for "buy n download" and now they are gone. and at the time they went into hiatus... bam!!! Karaoke.net just magically appeared. we didn't know who they were at the time, but after some extensive research, they turned out to be "Legit"
Sybersound is huge!!! and at the time they only had a small library available on the plate.
I just don't want to bother with buying a track here and there from online companies. I'd rather buy the complete library at a discounted price and then "buy every new song release as they come available"
IF Sybersound worked their business like Microsoft, they would have much more structure by: 1) selling a "License for use" for like $2000 with a renewal of $100/yr 2) have every track available for download in the Licensed members area. 3) add tracks / or remove tracks in compliance with the music laws.
simple stuff and more professional. The karaoke market has more than 200,000 KJ's and some with multiple systems.
I myself worked at Microsoft in the Corporate Licensing / Legal department / including the Response & Management Departments. I've also assisted Microsoft Resellers on the corporate level with educating companies/corporations with the proper licenses needed for their companies.
I also earned Top level Customer service/product specialist awards 3 months in a row. and I'm very well known in the corporate level of Microsoft.
I don't mean to brag but business is business, they would be more productive if they (KSF Group) came out of their shell

I make the singer happy because I simply go and buy the song. Quote: Sybersound is huge!!! and at the time they only had a small library available on the plate. Yep and as they acquire more licensing, more tracks will become available. Doesn't happen over night. Quote: I just don't want to bother with buying a track here and there from online companies. I'd rather buy the complete library at a discounted price and then "buy every new song release as they come available" See, I see buying entire libraries of every manufacturer a complete and utter waste of money. Always have from the beginning. Not going to buy libraries only to get MASSIVE duplication of tracks I already have. Have always bought what I needed. When It was on disc - it was harder and at that time I still didn't buy more than two or 3 brands regularly - and even then the disc had to have at least 50% or more songs I didn't already have. Today I just buy as I need - not hard.

Vinnie Vinnie Vinnie.... Once again you have a way of spreading false information and I have to correct you. Karafun pro subscriptions are 129.99 per month...not 99.00. You asked if you could buy KSF Player software. I really tried to explain to you that we are NOT a software company. We don't sell software to anyone. We have a customized computer system that incorporates our proprietary software in a closed system which we have sold in nightclubs across Europe. They are being gradually replaced with our streaming player system as the feature set expands to meet the needs of those customers. We have never sold it outside of Europe and are not planning to. You want a bulk deal, but fail to appreciate the royalties we have to pay regardless of the price we sell the content for. Selling at .50 per track for digital files that are licensed for Pro use from an American company with world wide rights? Never happening. You said you can buy the entire 16K library from SF and I call BS on that as well as I find it hard to believe that SF would take a chance to sell unlicensed tracks to you and run such a risk to their business for one sale. With that said, carry on...

Again I agree with Lonman on this. I am sick of buying a disc for one song but lonman, I believe turned me on to a disc that I already want to get for several songs including the one that I mentioned in the new song request section. It is a total waste of money in my opinion to purchase full libraries of songs. If I was starting out again today the only full library collection that I would consider buying is the MP3+G discs from Zoom and then what I don't have I would just buy on the fly as I got requests for songs that I didn't already have.

In the height of discs, SC was the go to. Others made good stuff but no one put out the variety that SC put out. Today? There are several places and ways to get good tracks with a lot of variety. That may change some with the current suits, but as of today, a KJ could easily get by without SC. I don't even think that is opinion... That's a fact.

With that said, carry on... It's offered to everyone on their website. https://www.sunflykaraoke.com/professional-karaoke-machinesThe Sunfly Satellite Laptop Karaoke system is fully licensed under Sunfly’s MCPS MSB2B licence. I contacted RE-SOUND karaoke licensing here in Canada and they said it's ok to use this product in Canada. Hey I'm just a kj who pushes the play button, what do I know. There is also Recisio Company out of France (karaoke-Version) I havn't spoke with as of yet to make a deal for their entire library, I'm holding off on them because I'd like to support and promote North American companies. like (Sybersound)
