One thing about IP Justice is that I have not heard that they have taken on even one case of a KJ being sued, either paid or pro bono. I wonder why that is, especially since they seem so sure about themselves.

They were hired by MTU (maker of Hoster) as I understand it.

MTU is not a KJ.

Okay, neither are all the venues that are being sued, but even though I am pretty sure they didn't tell their KJ's to do anything illegal, or to infringe on anyone, since they have not a lot of money, but more than the KJ's who probably simply followed the inferred permission from 2008,and producers who were switching to digital sales. The point is, in a conversation with one of the representatives of one of the litigious ones, they couldn't grasp the concept that if a poor schlep only had a budget of $3-400/mo. for music, not to mention printing & traveling costs, it would be self defeating to have to hire an IP lawyer, everytime one wanted to purchase music, to say nothing of the fact that if they were wrong, or if the rules changed, you don't get a refund... You just get scrooged! Or @ least anyone around you who has $ to part with. The real winners in all of this are the lawyers... America land of the oppressed, home of the litigious. I'm ashamed to have served, for the delusion of freedom.
