While I don't neccesarily disagree, I see this as maybe one of two scenarios, The other is that he is trying to muscle in on SC's action for himself. Pretending to be an investigator, and maybe coming back later for his own "settlement" - a con.

Pure conjecture on my part, but it wouldn't surprise me, especially in an area that's been "swept" often and knows about it.

I love the way the people on here assume they know how investigators work (too much Magnum PI). None of you know who or what firms are conducting investigations and unless SC, CB, et al are out to lunch, they aren't going to tell you. So unless you have first hand knowledge other than "what you think", anything you say is mere gossip, speculation, or assumption without facts.

Chip hasn't met a dead horse that he doesn't love beating on.

The dead ones don't care and they aren't whining about it either, but more importantly, it sounds like you subscribe to beating the live ones? Do you derive some sort of pleasure from beating a live horse? Is it that boring in Nova Scotia?.... Are you now going to deny that you beat live horses for fun?

Here's some advice I heard recently that might serve you well:

I'm sure Timberlea if you were the target of such abusive stalking-talk, you wouldn't wimp out over it either.... would you?

So Athena's claim that at least 4 people "unknown to her" that contacted her via email - about me - yadda, yadda, yadda... Athena threatened to investigate and provide the information.... I'm taking her up on her threat to provide information on whether or not I'm still in this business. Fine. Let's either put up or shut up. Why has she suddenly grown so quiet?... I'm not about to let this go so until she provides a definitive answer -that she's promised to do, be prepared to hear of it often.

If you have a problem with this then why not take it up with her?
