In July 2012 Slep-Tone filed a Trademark Lawsuit in the Chicago Illinois area:

Apparently the case had a voluntary dismissal on March 7th 2013, (See Doc# 60) and the case has now been terminated on March 8th 2013 (See Doc# 61) ~

I wonder how many of the 20 defendants settled?

Good question. However, my understanding is they would have been dropped if they contacted SC for an audit. As for the rest of the docket, it looks like at least Arrowsound Entertainment was named in a default request according to the attachment in Doc# 55.

Also Paradigm, I missed Doc# 43 with the motion to default on 8 defendants.

I guess they decided not to answer the lawsuit. :dontknow:

I'm in the Chicago area & I am not familiar with any of the names.

Interesting though.

Chip has corrected me on one of his blog posts regarding this Chicago case.

Thank you Chip for the information!
