I've seen there are quite a number of sites that sells cover accompaniment tracks both custom and karaoke.Is it legal anyway or is there any regulations whatsoever? |

It's my understanding that it's the downloaded tracks with the lyric sweeps included that aren't legal or licensed for U.S. based karaoke shows. I know that Amazon sells karaoke/background tracks without the lyrics sweeps. these MIGHT me legal- but I wouldn't bet my life on it- for U.S. based shows. However, they wouldn't be much use, unless the singer knew the song by heart. |
