This may be a little long, but I stumbled accross this yesterday on a karaokeuniverse (a yahoo group) posting. It may be old news, but it's the first I've seen anything like this from a producer. Just thought I'd pass it on for those who haven't seen it. Of course the offer expired yesterday

2. AND the hard drive or CAVS unit was purchased by you and you did not
receive any Sound Choice discs as part of your purchase, or the discs
you did receive with Sound Choice songs were Super CDGs (possibly DVDs
with thousands of songs).

If you meet these 2 conditions and will cooperate and provide us the information we need about your hard drive or CAVS purchase this is your chance to be granted amnesty against our lawsuits.

I got it in an unsolicited email - not sure where it came from.

This is a last ditch effort by SC to gather evidence in their case against the Ohio drive seller....

In effect, they will "give you" their entire library and "protection" in exchange for your testimony against the seller so that their case doesn't crumble into dust.

Is it too late to buy a hard drive?
