I am finally starting the process for my Sound Choice Audit. I faxed the paperwork over to them just a few minutes ago. Let's see if we can wrap this up in less than 30 days.

Of course I will be documenting things over at my blog - http://afairrotation.wordpress.com

We just might get this wrapped up this month!

I have my Sound Choice Audit scheduled for this Friday at 5pm. Looking forward to having the Big 3 knocked out.

Please let us know what the restrictions are, whether there is a yearly fee and if you are/have been required to sign any agreements.

No wonder they charge so much for an audit.
9PM Eastern on a Friday night? Don't they have anything better to do on a Friday night?

This is of course assuming that you meant 5pm Pacific time. If you meant 5pm Eastern it must be nice to get off from your regular job at 1pm in the afternoon on a Friday.

Then again 5pm eastern on a Friday night....continue with first rant!

He may be having his audit done in person. I'd have to check. The guy that does the Skype audits is not normally in the office on Friday at 8pm (Eastern is only 3 hours ahead), but we have a rep in Chris's area.

My audit is in fact being done in person. The auditor is coming to the bar at 5pm Pac Time and we are setting aside a couple of hours to knock it out.

I am going to set up my entire rig and try to talk the venue into letting me run a show since I will have it all out.

Where did anything mention 9PM EST?

I think he was considering the timezone difference.

Isn't N.C. in the Eastern Time Zone? Washington is in Pacific Time Zone so at 5 pacific it would be 8PM eastern.

I did as I thought it was scheduled for 5pm pacific time which would have made it 9pm but then I forgot that the stupid government makes some of us use day-light-savings so it's only 8pm then.....

Day-Light-Savings time another rant for another day.

FYI

It is currently Eastern Standard Time (EST) and Central Standard Time (CST).

These time zones are not currently in (DST) Daylight Savings Time.

If you don't want to check specifically, you will always know it is close and which way the clock moves by remembering:

SPRING Forward = in DST (Daylight Savings TIme)
and technically called (EDST) Eastern Daylight Savings Time and (CDST) Central Daylight Savings Time.

FALL Back = Standard Time
and technically called, as mentioned above, (EST) Eastern Standard Time and (CST) Central Standard Time.

Still would be only a 3 hour difference not 4. 5PM here in the PST is only 8PM in the EST.

DUH I've been living with probably long than you have. I just keep forgetting how many hours difference there is at different times of the year between the West Coast and the East Coast seeing that I live in the middle. (and I really don't care)
