My brain shuts down when reading all the legalize regarding Stellar's CAP program... am I to understand that Panorama disc's aren't legal?

I was on the THM autoship program for a couple of years when they told us that the name had changed to Panorama. I have 41 Panorama disc's from 2006 - 2008.. I'll toss them all before I pay $3200!

I wouldn't toss anything. If you have the original discs you should have nothing to worry about.

I really don't thing that Stellar is going to come after anybody they are just trying to make money off of SC's scaring everybody.

You're right  I do have the original disc's... and hardly ever use those tracks. Yahhhhh... dang.. $3200 is a chunk of cash for a piece of paper that takes months upon months to get. But I guess if I had 6,000 illegal thm tracks, it would be worth it!

Is Stellars CAP program another one of those pay us and we'll look the other way things? I wonder how much of that $3200 makes it way back to the music publishers?

I guess that's what they're saying... if you bought an illegal hard drive with their stuff on it... they will certify legal all of their tracks from 2007 back (not positive on the year). So if you bought anything illegal since 2007, the $3200 does not cover you. Pretty damned pricey!! I don't think they are producing discs anymore (since 2008?). Sounds like they're trying to squeeze the last drop out of the product before going out of business for good.

I read that the $3200 is to legalize pirated tracks, issued prior to a certain year, that someone may have gotten through download or HD purchase.

If one owns the discs, one should have nothing to worry about.

Also I read that Stellar now owns the rights to all the Panorama.

I believe I saw Chris Avis post about this somewhere on the forum. He bought the Stellar CAP because he had acquired an illegal HD.
