For all you folks considering this option, I received an email from Sound Choice to purchase the GEM Series for $3000 cash through Friday, 3-16-12.

They don't have it on their Website, and I didn't get an E-mail. Can you post a copy of what you got so I can see it please? Thanks...

I have to play Devil's Advocate here and point out that the "Get Out Of Jail Free" card used in this ad has a Registered Trademark to Parker Brothers.

Maybe that's why it's not on their website!

And the "R" is by the cage. It is quite possible they have permission from Parker Brothers or whoever has control of the trademark.

Well you're free to contact Parker Brothers and tell them. I'm sure they will check and if no permission was given then I'm sure a cease and desist letter will be sent.

What I can't figure out is why the don't let you finance it. They charge 10% on the remaining balance after the down. Even splitting the difference at 3750.00 would suck me in this week...

Jon Because it's a sale. Financing costs them money but they are willing to cut you a deal for cash up front. Just like buying a car or house. Cash on the table always gets a better price.

Can you explain how financing costs them money? They do it inhouse...15% down leaves 2550.00 plus there 10% puts it back up to 2805.00. Then divide buy 18 months, thats 155.83 a month. Sounds like their making money... I would think to them that my money would look better in their bank.

.....If I were just starting out, I would jump on some of the deals out there. There's definitely some ridiculously low prices compared to years past. Not only the money savings but the time savings by not having to rip CDG's!
.....Makes me think about selling my Sound Choice CDG's on Ebay and purchasing the GEM.
