Follow the link..........

http://salem.craigslist.org/bfd/3004160096.html

If the link doesn't work go to Salem, Oregon Craigslist and put karaoke in the "For Sale" search box.

Look for "professional karaoke tracks many different genre"

Or, go to "KJ Bill.com"

Hmmmm..........

I'd be willing to bet not legal at all.

I have reported KJ Bill to SC, CB, PHM several times. Always the same response - He is on our radar, we are dealing with him, we aren't at liberty to discuss further.

I have actually reported him to the FBI and local authorities as well.

I have even had email and phone conversations with him. He once sent me a version of Red Solo Cup with the original CDG graphics stripped off and replaced with his own.

He is either untouchable, very lucky, or, the Manufacturer's aren't actually going after him.

I figure I will wait until the end of the year and the replicate his business model since it seems to be a profitable enterprise and nothing is happening to him.

Leave the poor guy alone, he's not hurting anyone! As long as he doesn't have a show.

If he's marketing hard drives, he's hurting all legal KJ's.

...Nah, he's just creating future customers for the Karaoke Manufacturers.

This guys ads have been all over craigslist for a couple of years at least. Every time I search my local area at least 1 of his adds comes up. I just keep flagging them.

The FBI, REALLY??? What a rat!! Wow, where I come from, you would probably turn up missing. LOL. (That was said in jest, so let's not get any panties in an uproar, please).

I just find it funny. What exactly do you think the FBI is going to do to him?? Do you REALLY want tax payer money spent on him?? One person on here thinks Homeland Security may start going after KJs who use UK downloads, and now we have you who thinks the FBI should go after a Karaoke pirate. Do you people REALLY think Karaoke is that important, in the grand scheme of things, that the Federal Government should or WOULD get involved?? REALLY??

And I'll bet the first thing they asked you was if you were you were a victim of his (alleged) crime. Since you have not had any financial losses as a result of this, I'm sure that that's where the conversation ended, and you were told that there's nothing they can do to help you.

Yes.
It would be far more appropriate for our government to police these things (that they are empowered to police) than for a vender to empower themselves as the karaoke police.

They actually asked me that and much more. And by the way, I explained that he impacted me financially as well as all of you and the manufacturers.

I don't have a lot of faith they will do anything but I reported it just the same.

Too bad we don't know a good hacker and crack his FTP server. Or perhaps a DOS attack?

The thing is no one here knows what the FBI is doing or not doing. They could be doing nothing due to other priorities. They could be establishing the amount of damages that is occurring. They could be doing something national and do a national sweep at some point. They may or may not be cooperating with manufacturers. As with the Dodger player, they maybe doing a joint operation with the IRS. One thing I do know is they will not announce or comment on anything until it happens.

FBI will not get involved? Think again. This is old news, happened five years ago. KJ old-timers know these two cases very well. Stephen “Sonny" Freeman, Mound, MN http://www.justice.gov/criminal/cybercr ... anPlea.pdf

The last paragraph states: “This case is part of the U.S. Department of Justice’s initiative to combat online auction piracy. The case was investigated by the Minnesota Cyber Crimes Task Force, which includes the Federal Bureau of Investigation; the United States Secret Service; and the United States Postal Inspection Service.

Tracy Ann Brock, ironically, she’s from BURNSVILLE, MN http://www.startribune.com/local/11556316.html

“FBI agents raided Brock's home and seized equipment used in the pirating operation”.
