... a 1 to 1 compliant KJ ("certified" by one of the karaoke vendors to media shift) who badly ripped his CDs and has broken and chopped graphics or an un-"certified" KJ who took great care in ripping his discs but has not been give permission to media shift by the same vendor. Who does more damage to the brand? To the trademark? Because I have seen this exact scenario and I can tell you from the audience perspective who makes the brand look worse. Comments?

depends on who you ask. SC---the certified one with crap graphics hurts them none, the non certified clean rip costs them thousands.
for those in the real world, the exact opposite.

any crap-i-oke host hurts the industry just as badly as a track thief......a 1-1 compliant media shifter who runs a good show helps counteract the black eye the crap-i-oke hosts give the industry.

Those are just lazy kj's that don't bother fixing their rips. IMO shouldn't be in business anyway.
That being said I have seen completely disc based hosts in the past with graphic garble and skipping discs - again lazy kj's that don't bother trying to fix their stuff. They hurt karaoke in general!
