They're probably just trying to make themselves look more like a legitimate Karaoke Manufacturer. I doubt that they'll be filing any law suits for Trademark Infringements any time soon. It just goes to show that the "average" KJ will buy whatever discs are available to them; as long as the discs have songs that are popular enough to get sung at their shows. Nobody cared if the Dangerous discs were legally produced, or the Helluvadiscs or the Backstage discs or the SGB discs for that matter. Just about every KJ bought and used some of these discs and are probably still using them. Singers Solution discs are no different. Some guy is probably making them in his basement with a few of his musician friends and he is trying to make a quick buck before someone cartches up with him. If and when he gets caught; he will try to "disappear" and come back reincarnated as another karaoke company in a month or two. That has been the nature of the Karaoke business for a long time. The manufaccturers always seem to be playing fast and loose with the legal rules but expect the average KJ to be as honest as the day is long. My mom used to tell me to do as I say and not as I do, when it came to cigarette smoking. The manufaccturers seem to be saying the same thing when it comes to being 100% legal.

A "TM" is just a common law claim. If it was a registered mark, it would have a copyright symbol. If a USPTO search came up empty, that would lead to the conclusion that a trademark had not been applied for.
