Mr. Harrington has already stated that you only need a sync license to MAKE karaoke. you don't need one to play it. However streaming might be another issue altogether, so who knows. |

Unless they provide a feature that suppresses the lead vocal, I don't see this as much of a threat to karaoke at all. |

I didn't think YouTube would be a threat to KJs but from what I hear, it has been in some areas. Can't imagine trying to run a show depending on a venue's wireless stability, but I guess some are willing to give it a shot. Beats buying or stealing your music I guess. Problem is, nobody to tell them to stop doing it. |
