I don't know much about it as I have never used it, but I lost a gig to some dolt who runs nothing but Karafun, and he is doing it for $30 less than I did. It's not legal is it? And, if it isn't. who do you contact?

In other words, one can use MTU Hoster, Karma, PCDJ/KJ, or Karafun to PLAY the music- no one cares how THAT is done. It's all about the music SOURCE.

Karafun is supplied by Karaoke Version if I'm not mistaken since they are both owned by the same parent company Recisio. And the pro version is like $129 per month for over 19,000 song availability. But then again you are completely reliant on internet stability to access.

I saw that it was K-V after I started this thread. I buy K-V. It was all about the $$$ for the bar.

Without knowing for sure they were just using the home version, you cannot come to the conclusion they are illegal in that respect if they are paying the pro subscription which would leave the $30 difference a competitive pricing.
