If I'm reading corrtectly Tricera seens to be saying that their Just Kakaole software plus a $40/mo subscription, offers a 70,000 song library that can be used commercially. Am I reading it right?

According to their site, the subscription only allows streaming of 10,000 tracks. The 70,000 song library is available on a per-song download basis at prices of $1.79 to $2.49. They appear to claim that the subscription is valid for venue use. However, they seem to be careful to avoid using the term "commercial." (They use the terms "serious sing-along host" and "VENUE, Enthusiast or home use.")

I would think venue is the same as commercial.

to be fair, "Commercial" is not in the FAQ about GEM series either. only "professional KJs and venues"

"Professional" means "for pay," which is commercial.

I was not intending to be critical of TriceraSoft, just pointing out that they avoided the term that the OP used.
