I have downloaded numerous artist off off of a file sharing group. If I delete the Sound Choice ones, can I use the Chartbuster, Legends, SunFly, Karaoke Version etc in my show without the actual disk? |

Not if you want to be legal. Sound Choice owns the rights to Chartbuster, Karaoke Version is only legally available from their website so you'd better have a receipt from them. Basically if it's from a disk you should have an original disk and not a burned copy, if it's from a download site you should have a receipt from an authorized dealer. It boils down to the fact that if you use music from a file sharing group you're stealing and can be held libel as can your venue. |
