Hey all,

I have a nice young German lady who comes to my Friday show religiously. She speaks good English and sings what I have, but I'd like to reward her loyalty with a surprise of more songs in her native tongue.

I only have 99 Luftbalons in German now, and frankly it sucks. What is the best German version?

Any other good German songs I should look for?

I need that one as well. Have a German lady that comes in on occasion that i'd like to get it for. She tries to sing the English version in German but says she sometime has trouble translating while singing.

I Facebooked her and sent her to Karaoke Version and Select-a-Track and said "pick out a few". She was stunned!

I ended up getting 99 Luft Ballons in German from Karaoke version. It sounds SO much better. Also picked up Major Tom from Peter Schillling and "10 Kleine Jagermeister" by "Die Toten Hosen" from Select-A-Track at her suggestion. It's a drinking song, so she says, since the bar does Jagermeister specials all the time.


Should be interesting.

I had the Major Tom on SC for years, it actually gets sung fairly regular by a few people.
