I'm sure I know where I'm purchasing my Karaoke/DJ system. It's a top of the line system. They will preload the computer I'm getting with it.

So, they have CDG music packages year 1930 - 2018:

5200 songs $499,99
6000 songs $599.99
8000 songs $699.99
11000 songs $999.99
16000 songs $1499.99
21000 songs $1899.99
26000 songs $2399.99

It would be nice to get my equipment and have the computer preloaded and have a ready to go package, but paying that price is tough. I think I may be able to negotiate the prices, not sure.

What do you think I should do? Pay for a lower package and build it up? Or do you know of a better option?
Thank you for your help!

Depends on whether you are getting the actual original pressed discs (not burned copies) that contain every song they add to the computer, if not that would be completely illegal (despite what the seller/vendor might have told you).
Today with legal download options, you dont need to spend thousands up front, you buy the songs as needed, or there are a couple subscription service options that run approx 120 to 150 per month

Don't fall for these schemes. They are nothing but bootleg scams.

If you want to start off on the right foot. Try this:

1) Get yourself a nice reliable laptop (Preferably with HDMI or VGA out)
2) Start off with a karafun pro subscription (30,667 Tracks for just 39.00 €/week or 99.00 €/month) Includes the karaoke player software.
3) Slowly build your own personal collection with many options available from places like eBay. (I picked up many good quality tracks for as little as 5 cents per song) Chartbuster 10 SD Card set is a very nice investment to start with and go from there.

As Lonnie mentioned, Make sure you get original disks.

*IF you do decide on going for any of those packages listed in the OP make sure to buy with credit card, this way if they wind up being bootlegs, you can simply do a charge back.

Thank you! They don't give me disc, they preload the songs on the computer with their software. So I guess I could just get the system that they have which is really good, (two speakers, computer with software, mixer, monitor, mikes splitter and accessories) A 2000 Watts system, then I can build my on library. If you PM me I'll be glad to tell you who. (I think this is legal on here) If not let me know.

Yep no discs means illegal. Dont be dup'd.

As far as the rest if you can get models and makes of each piece of equipment and what they are trying to sell it for and post it here, we can tell you if it's in the ballpark - or even really worth it at all. Might be trying to screw you there too if they are willing to sell illegal copies.

Grab yourself a nice 512GB iPad (Loaded with karafun subscription) and one of those BOSE S1 Pro Bluetooth powered speakers and a nice SHURE SM58 microphone and you're all set.

A small system like this will pay for itself in no time running shows at senior citizens homes and also lodges.

Why would you want to buy anything from them after they're trying to scam you with the music? Stay away from them.

can you post a link to what they are selling you or at least the store themselves? it would be easier to judge the quality/cost if we can see what it is. sometimes it's a great deal, but most times you can get better for less, especially if they are pulling the loaded karaoke system game with you. more often than not these "professional karaoke system" are less than professional for higher cost than actual professional equipment.
