This one has been requested more than a dozen times.
Can't find it anywhere. This is probably my most requested song. I usually get 2-3 people/night asking for it. At this point, it doesn't even have to be a good version, I just need it! We have 2 different versions at the club I attend, one with vocals and the regular one. Good guality and backing harmonies. I.I.R.C. chartbusters has it..

Not a Chartbuster release, Karaoke-Version is the only manu with it. It can be bought with or without backing harmonies.

I had the same problem when the song was new. Added the request to Karaoke version and low and behold, they made it! Not bad either...

Thanks for mentioning Wagon Wheel--have had that one on the request list for over a year. Rushed to the site to get it and found two more that the boyfriend had always wished were available. Now if they would just do "In Spite of Ourselves" again......

Question: I've seen this forum before but really never read anything on it.
If you D/L from Karaoke-version.com what are the ramifications for using the D/L in show. I looked at the terms of service but only saw that it relates to stuff on the site and that you CAN NOT modify anything that you D/L. Did I miss something?

That is an interesting question as I had been told by someone that they did have the proper licensing for using downloads in a show. But you are correct--it says in the terms of service that the tracks are only for personal use and can only be copied for personal use (it gives the okay to burn the MP3Gs to disc). It says the songs can not be broadcast and to do so would result in termination of the account and possible legal action. So maybe not....

I don't know. http://www.karaoke-version.com/help/use_33.htmlI am under the assumption the music rights management in the USA would be the ASCAP/BMI and if the clubs are paying those, there shouldn't be a problem, but....?

Just added so they might not show up immediately:
Amoreena - Elton John The Walk - Mayer Hawthorne You Called Me - Mayer Hawthorne Finally Fallin' - Mayer Hawthorne
And I still cant believe there is no version anywhere of Stevie Wonders "What Christmas Means to Me". I see it was written early in his career by members of the Gordy family. I wonder if its a rights issue?
Votes appreciated!

There's one Richard Cheese song that I've been unable to find a decent karaoke mp3 for. That's probably because it's not on any of his CDs - he couldn't get licensing permission from George Lucas. The song is called 'Star Wars Cantina' and uses the music of 'Copacabana' by Barry Manilow. The half-dozen or so mp3s that I've found use a tinny version of the music, and none of the movie sound bites, only putting in the additional voices for the chorus. I have a good mp3 of the song itself, I just want to be able to sing it at a small local talent show while wearing the fully-decked-out Jedi costume I made. *^^* And most of the people at the show have known me for a long time, so they know I'm a Star Wars nerd - they'll get a kick out of the song. If anyone can help me out, I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks! I guess my problem was that I was looking under Richard Cheese, not the guy who portrayed him in the video; yes, it's a different person, Richard says so on his website. ^^

Would LOVE to see some of the songs from the Juno soundtrack in Karaoke!
Moldy Peaches - Anyone Else But You Kimya Dawson - So Nice, So Smart Kimya Dawson - Loose Lips Kimya Dawson - Tire Swing Barry Polisar - All I Want Is You
And I know Flight of the Conchords is a cancelled show and there are a few songs available (Sunfly?) but would love to have Sugar Lumps, Carol Brown, Friends, and Too Many Dicks (on the Dancefloor) on Karaoke! (and Yes, I've voted for sugar lumps and too many dicks)
