i would buy it if.....
it is current songs, not 6 months old (as was always the case with SC)
they are better versions than other manus have available
they are comparable priced
i can buy what is requested and not a disc full of dupes

in this new marketplace, being able to buy a good version on demand at a reasonable price (i'm not talking $0.99, but not $5.00) would be a big step towards repairing their business.
but to come out with "Pontoon" in July at a comparable quality to SBI or AS, on a disk with 14 other songs from last year for $25.00 would not be working in the current market world.

The 6 month behind lag never bothered me, most 'current' songs don't really get sung until 6 months to a year after they are popular anyway.

Really?????????????
What has Stellar put out in the past 12 months that has been so top notch? I stopped purcahsing PHM, because all I have been seeing is a disc with 7 - 8 songs FLUFF, and the remaining 2 are current hits that people are asking for.

I guess I should have clarified: Top Notch Music is of good quality..... not neccesarily what people are wanting to sing.

I haven't bought a PHM disk in quite some time, but I have almost always been happy with the disks I have purchased - the quality of the renditions that is.

I Agree there quality is GREAT...no doubt..but there selection of songs are less then others..people want to do stuff that they hear on the radio..I just dont get it..are they in this business to make money or not...lol

i have the opposite, most current songs have run their course and are no longer hot after 6-9 months.
"Pontoon" for example.....when it hit everybody wanted to sing it, now it's on the pile with "Sexy And I Know It" & "Red Solo Cup" of once in a month or two. got my money's worth as it was done continuously for months, but if it came out now on karaoke, not worth spending money for a different version of marginal if any improvement in instrumentation.

Pontoon is just now starting to be sung.
Sexy & I Know It has been done from the start and is still sung today.
Red Solo Cup I think got sung maybe 5 times - but that was one of the rare ones that actually got sung the day I bought it. Was never an over done song.

Pontoon has been done every show for at least 4 months now, sometimes twice. I started playing the video almost as soon as it hit the charts; that's all it took.

My shows are heavy on the country though...

It's all about the quality to me. If they produce new music with the same attention to detail they did in the past (IE: Sounding nearly identical to the originals) I'm all over it as that's what drew me to SC in the first place.
