Buy the backing track and send it to Lonnie for graphics rendering. ;c) Practice is good.

Hi all, please can you help me push Mayer Hawthorne's "The walk" further up Karaoke-Versions's top songs suggestions list. It's been slipping for awhile (currently at 54) but just a few weeks back it was at number 5. As far as I know no Hawthorne song has been made to karaoke yet, so this would potentially be the first. http://www.karaoke-version.com/suggesti ... +Hawthorne

Love the whole retro-motown sound. Also vote for "Finally Fallin'", "Hooked" and "You Called Me" by Mayer Hawthorne please!

i am by no means a lawyer but there is my take on downloads.
if i buy a cd from another country, and I play it at a dj gig, that is prefectly legal because the bar is paying PERFORMANCE fees to whatever organization either in the us or canada.
so why wouldn't it be legal to purchase a download and use it for permormance in a karaoke show.
there are fees that are being paid for the karaoke permormance of songs.
No difference in my book

I just downloaded some beautiful Roy Orbison tracks. But the one I cannot download is Crawling Back. I did find it on iTunes and would have downloaded it. But iTunes has got to be the most convoluted website I have ever encountered. I danced to all their tunes, installing itunes etc. But, no matter what I tried, I just could not find a way to download the track I wanted. Can anyone help me to locate a karaoke version of this song?

bwriter wrote: Can anyone help me to locate a karaoke version of this song? (Crawling Back by Roy Orbison) Are you sure that you are signed in? The purchase link is available to me on both the UK and the USA itunes functions. BTW, I found that same backing track (music only - no graphics) on Amazon (I'm guessing that you would be registered for the Amazon.UK). http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Ddigital-music&field-keywords=crawling+back+roy&x=0&y=0Personally, I prefer Amazon over Itunes for most music purchases. Also, everyone who voted for Mayer Hawthorne's "The Walk" -- that song has been just put the song into production at Karaoke-Version.com. It's too bad that it's already out on karaoke, but it does show that if enough people vote on a song, it will be produced. I'm excited that Eric Clapton's "San Francisco Blues" has been added to production today. Cheers and thanks for voting!

I hate it when karaoke track producers improperly credit who a track is in the style of. I don't ever trust the artist listed on any standards or showtunes CDG anymore.

I looked at the terms of service but only saw that it relates to stuff on the site and that you CAN NOT modify anything that you D/L. Did I miss something? I've never heard of them suing any of their paying customers, unlike a former karaoke disc manufacturer whom I'd rather not name. They're fully legit with MCPS, and I've only heard of ASCAP/BMI/SESAC suing venues that don't have their licenses, so as long as the venue you're in does, I'm sure you'll be fine.
