The only one I could find was "Buy Me A Boat" and it's available from both SBI and Karaoke Version.

Bartender is available at Karaoke-Version and SBI too (I added that title to my list after you posted the above).


I've never used Karaoke-Version; however, the problem I have with them is with their Terms of Use:



As for SBI, I don't believe I can buy from them anymore either (long story).

I believe you will find 'for personal use' from most manus if you really look. That is really a non-issue if the club are paying the performance fees.

Since this topic thread is supposed to be just to request songs to Karaoke.net, I apologize in advance for my post below. It is not my intent to turn this topic into a discussion, but I felt it necessary to respond to this specific comment.


That's not how it's supposed to work. By saying you second a vote for these songs, you are also saying you are willing to buy them. The Manufacturer is producing these songs on the basis of prospective sales. If they now produce it and you decide not to buy it (after saying you wanted it), they are losing money (based on the expense of licensing and production). Now, it may be 1 or 2 titles here, which isn't much, but when you start adding other titles to the list, and people are saying they "second" and "third it," and then they aren't buying those either, it starts to add up. What can result would be the Manufacturer might not be so willing to produce any more future requests.

Exactly. We don't want people to vote on stuff that is already available/or have or wouldn't purchase. That defeats the purpose of voting on songs to be made! We want NEW stuff that isn't already available or if stuff is only available from one source - vote on it IF you would be willing to buy it. THAT is how new stuff will continue to be made. Not by voting on stuff that you have no intention of buying because you already have it or have no need for it - do NOT second anything you probably will not buy.
If stuff is being voted on that isn't bought by at least everyone that votes on it - then they will stop taking votes altogether because it will obviously not mean a thing!
