No hanky panky or sinister motives going on. This was legitimately a case of two brothers that simply cannot get along.
mrmarog, I was not kidding you (although I realize that was rhetorical). Let's just chalk it up as "you irritated me with your comments". Either drop it or don't. That's up to you.

It's a rare but special moment of disgrace when a representative of a business displays in writing their true feelings of irreverence toward the customers whose purchases made their precious paychecks possible for a seven year period.

I too have contributed to your employment by having purchased about 65 ASK discs (1238 songs). We need as many good manufacturers as we can get..... so believe me I'm on your side.

According to some posters here, past stats shows there's only around 5-10% of us KJs that actual support Karaoke Producers (the ones that actual purchase music through legit sources). As much as we sympathize with the ones affected at All Star, do you really think degrading us helps the situation? Guess that's the new Customer Appreciation Procedure? ...Like I said before, if my money is no longer appreciated at All Star, I can rearrange my budget to direct it towards other Karaoke Producers.... by the way, "You're Welcome!"

earthling12357, MadMusicOne: I have not been employed by ASK for several weeks and therefore am not speaking on their behalf. I am only speaking on behalf of me.
mrmarog and everyone else: I'm sorry about my snarky comment. It certainly wasn't intended to piss anyone off. It was (like other's comments) made out of frustration. I'm sure I could have gotten my point across with better word choices.
Looks guys, Doug has the company now, has big plans and the Brand is intact. This is good news.

Do I know how you feel? Many of us do! It's so easy to get frustrated. I do sincerely appreciate your response and hope only the best for YOU and everyone else at All Star! These last several years have been really rough on us all! ...Just wanted to say thanks for the recent post. If I offended you or anyone else, please accept my heart-filled apology. No matter how many times, over the past couple of decades, that I wanted to hang it up, the smile on someone's face when we start playing that Karaoke Track they want to sing, makes it worth wild. Without people like you, we couldn't do it! ...No matter where you go or end up, Good Luck!

The link above is still operational (although a little slow in delivery of the codes) and you can still buy and download songs.

Need to use up my download card asap while the site is still up & running. So I used up my remaining balance from AllStar downloads this afternoon. Tho’ they’re not my goto site for downloads they have some songs not in the sbi/kv library. I decided to buy another $20 card, 45 songs from Walmart http://www.walmart.com/msharbor/ip/21310093 email delivery 4pm pst today. ‘receive redemption code via email over an hour ago & downloaded 45 tracks mostly Disney, Christmas & new releases. Fyi - allstar website for downloads still fully functional as of 10:10pm pst, May 12, 2014. The rumors of their demise have been greatly exaggerated. The link above is still operational (although a little slow in delivery of the codes) and you can still buy and download songs. Why do I feel like Frede just single me out? Let’s see. Oh there it was. My couple posts he quoted to make it appear “I greatly exaggerated the rumor” simply because I aired my concern of their possible closing as was indicated by the OP of this thread. Frede, fyi I just want to be on the safe side just in case, & therefore I cash-in my remaining song credits, as did mr.Boo, mightywiz, madmusicone, etc. If you remember from years back; “rumor” that cb will close shop. A few here weren’t able to cash in their prepaid mediapro credits, some even missed their fire sale $3k to $4k 12,000 song hdrive. So please go back to page one & re-read all the posts. I did not start the fire.

Sorry you feel I singled you out, I only used you post because of the link you provided. That link has saved me a lot of money, because I had been buying the 60 songs for $35.88 card (60 cents per song) and your link has 40 songs for $20 and no shipping (45 cents per song)

Thanks all! TH So how does one get hold of you for custom tracks?
