Looking for this with no vocals. (Some versions have one vocal or the other).

Musicmeister has a version with no vocals. The number is MM6329. However, one partner will need to know the words to do the backup when the other is singing "Me and my shadow, strolling down the avenue." My Son and I perform this song a lot and get a great response to it.

Thank you. I'll have a look at that.

Karaoke Version has it as a download. The sample was pure duet. Tricerasoft also has the SBI version which also seems to be what you're looking for.

Johnny Reverb - you're right. I do not like that line in there. I always change it to "Since I'm here with you..."

The line is something like "Since you are a Jew." It sounds racist now but when you put it in context of Sammy Davis Jr. having converted to Judaism and it was the subject of a lot of jokes from the Rat Pack, I really don't think it was intended to be racist. However, most people reading the words on the screen while you are singing the song are not going to understand that. Like I said in a previous post, I am not comfortable with that line and I change it.

I love the song and it always gets a great response when my Son and I perform it.

Maybe because Frank was referring that Sammy was his "shadow"? Just trying to think like Johnny (I know good luck with that).

OK first of all I don't see the line "Since you are a Jew" and it's Sammy telling Frank he is Frank's shadow I still don't see it....Unless of course it's because I don't have the Karaoke Version and it has it wrong...see below the original verses

FRANK SINATRA
"Me And My Shadow"
(D. Dreyer, A. Jolson, B. Rose)

[Recorded October 22, 1962, Los Angeles]

Like the wallpaper sticks to the wall
Like the seashore clings to the sea
Like you'll never get rid of your shadow
Frank, you'll never get rid of me

Let all the others fight and fuss
Whatever happens, we've got us.

Me and my shadow
We're closer than pages that stick in a book
We're closer than ripples that play in a brook
Strolling down the avenue
Wherever you find him, you'll find me, just look
Closer than a miser or the bloodhounds to Liza

Me and my shadow
We're closer than smog when it clings to L.A.
We're closer than Bobby is to J.F.K.
Not a soul can bust this team in two
We stick together like glue

And when it's sleeping time
That's when we rise
We start to swing
Swing to the skies
Our clocks don't chime
What a surprise
They ring-a-ding-ding!
Happy New Year!

Me and my shadow
And now to repeat what I said at the start
They'll need a large crowbar to break us apart
We're alone but far from blue

Before we get finished, we'll make the town roar
We'll make all the late spots, and then a few more
We'll wind up at Jilly's right after Toot's Shore
Life is gonna be we-wow-whee!
(here comes the party!)
For my shadow and me!

Say Frank?
What is it, Sam?
Do me a favor?
What do you want, now?
Would you mind taking it, just one more time?
From the top?
No! From the ending!
Wonderful!

And while we are swinging, to mention a few
We'll drop in at Danny's, The Little Club too
But wind up at Jilly's, whatever we do
Life is gonna be we-wow-whee!
(Wow!)
For my shadow and me!

Frank?
Oh, forget it Sam.
