And as they stated here, they cannot get the licensing like they used to for the better songs. Same complaint every month.

A good reason not to renew my phm sub, just concentrate on downloads. I'll suffer the consequences when the time comes (no offense to kjathena).

That's just it, they know they are making crap - admittidly. Excuse? Maybe. Truth to it? Maybe. They trying to cut costs because piracy is hitting them as well? Possibly.
All Star is pretty much the only other US manu currently making music - however whether they are licensing their stuff remains to be seen. They could be just going through the motions like so many other manus in the past that have been sued into oblivion by the publisher & music rights holders. That is pure speculation, I hope they are legit.
Sunfly and the other labels is UK derived - different licensing and technically (supposedly) not allowed in US.

That's possible too. If the songs aren't even released or JUST came out on the radios - then they may become better a couple months later. I'm not getting that lucky, I am getting stuff from May & June being done fairly regular.

Actually, just went & looked at the listing, out of the entire year, this one is probably their best, at least i've heard some of these tracks. Unfortunately even have a couple I bought last month elsewhere.

From my singer’s request list: useable 2 songs from Pop “I Will” & “Babel” by Mumford & Sons. 1 from Country “Gonna Come Back As A Country Song” by Alan Jackson, & 1 from Urban “Beautiful Singer” by Nicki Minaj.

Who knows, once the rest of those songs reach their popularity from billboard charts radio airplay……………probably highly unlikely for some. Same as Lonnie, phm songs released 4-5 mos back are now being played every once in a while. But as the saying goes: better have it when you don’t need it than never to have it when you need it. :? :)

That used to happen fairly regularly with the Chartbuster Country DOM. Singers would ask for a song that had just hit the radio. I'd tell them that I didn't think I had it but would look anyway, lo and behold it would show up on a disk that had been out for months.
