I just got off the phone with all star the Jan 2013 B disc should be release this Fri

** NOTE** also called Pop Hits Monthly..their FEB 2013 release should be out by the end of this week or beginning of next.....

***Disney.. will be releasing Songs from SHAKE IT UP

Well they obviously had enough demand for the song to be released. So it's a 'new' release for them. Just because a new release is out doesn't necessarily mean 'current'. They released Cupid Shuffle a couple months back too, that song is like 7 years old. I wouldn't mind seeing them put out some back catalog stuff that no one has out yet though.

Theres enough people putting out back catalog suff we need someone to focus on NEW stuff...if they want to put out buckcherry...great ..they have a new single out....lol

I disagree, plenty of backcatalog stuff that hasn't even been tapped yet. That is a wide open market they could be delving in - maybe release one disc a month of non-released older material. New (as in current) stuff in my 22 years has never been a driving force of any show i've ever worked.

Right - every show IS different, so they should also try releasing 'new' back catalog stuff too as new releases for those shows that don't care about new music as much. I'm not saying don't release new current stuff, but release the older 'new' stuff too that isn't out anywhere already.

Have to say Im kinda disappointed in the Jan releases from all the companies...nothing very exciting..hopefull we will get better selections next month
