Does anyone know where to get a background track for Muskrat Ramble, preferably the way the McGuire Sisters did it? I have vocal remover software, but it doesn't work on mono recordings.

Also would love to do No More (McGuire Sisters and DeJohn Sisters).

Thanks for any help!

Muskrat Ramble - track # 15
No More - track # 10

These are digital downloads, so good luck on the voice removal process. :)

They are mono recordings. She already stated the vocal removers won't work on her mono recordings - which I can attest NO vocal remover will work on a mono recording.

Amazon Digital Services is an mp3 digital music stream downloads from Amazon. Quote: “Amazon.com, Inc. is a well respected force in the online retail market, and so it was no surprise that it eventually entered the digital music download scene in 2007. Its digital music store, Amazon MP3, has upped the ante in the world of paid-for online music services.” http://mp3.about.com/od/musicservicerev ... P3_rev.htm

Original mono, stereo remastered, digitally streamed for downloads. I already know there’s no voice removal method that can completely eliminate vocals. Sometimes they think vocals were eliminated but the result is disappointing, other instruments are affected & some audible vocal will still be heard.

Since the op stated “I have vocal remover software, but it doesn't work on mono recordings”, I subsequently added “these are digital downloads, so good luck on the voice removal process”. Jeeez!

No I know, all I was getting at was it's still a mono recording - even if they digitally enhance it to a stereo sound, the original source recordings were mono. From what it sounds like they did was just time shift the left & right channels ever so slightly to give the illusion of a stereo sound - which would further subject it to worse vocal removing as there would be no identical/like wave forms anymore.

Be as it may, ---- I'll leave it as that! Peace, bro!
