I wish I had more country singers. I personally haven't listened to Country since the big country explosion of the early 90's. I just don't get a lot of country singers at my places.

I need Mississippi Mud, Whatever She's Got, Drunk Last Night.
They may be old releases, but they are songs that have NEVER been released on karaoke and I have singers asking for them still. THIS is what DTE should be focusing on releasing more of, the old back catalog stuff people still want and request but aren't available anywhere.

Im not saying that they shouldn't do old stuff once in a while but the monthly releases I feel should be NEW stuff... IMO

I could care less if another new (as in todays hits) song ever got released again personally. There is so much untapped music that needs to be focused on that would have a little more longevity than the flavor of the week tunes of today - provided those songs even get sung at all.

and personally could care less if any old stuff was released again due to the fact people already know the old stuff and to do the new stuff THEY have to take time to LEARN it.... ..oh well..IMO

But if it's new to karaoke, then it IS new stuff - especially if it's what people are wanting to sing and asking for to be made. That's what i'm getting at. The 'new' radio hits don't last.

Maybe old music but if not released in karaoke then they’re new stuff. Modernized pure solid country cuts from granddad Hank Sr’s. Definitely getting these 2 tracks. thanks, gretchen!

I understand that some people want old stuff but don't put it out as a new release....New Releases should be stuff from that year...2012 - 2013...IF YOU GOING TO PUT OUT OLD STUFF THE COME OUT WITH A CLASSIC CD with that stuff on it..but don't mix the new song with old...sorry it just IMO

IF it's NEVER been released on karaoke, then it is considered a NEW release. It may not be 'new' as in todays bogus hits, but new nonetheless.

-Chris Quite the opposite here in the Piedmont area of North Carolina.... Very close to a 50-50 split over Country and POP/Rock ( mainly older stuff ) being performed at most shows... Almost all the newer songs being sung around these parts are country... Bands like The Band Perry, Little Big Town, Lady Antebellum, Pistol Annie's, Blake Shelton, Darius Rucker, Luke Bryan and Miranda Lambert are really popular now... Hardly any newer pop material is sung at the shows in this area...

-Chris I wish I had LESS country singers, and more rock singers. I have never been a fan of country. I was raised on Rock. I'm a Long Island boy, originally. Now I know there are many Country fans up there, but the Rockers outweigh them but a lot. Down here there are just more Country folk. Out of all the music I have bought, since I started this gig, (and not including what I buy for my own collection), most of it has been Country.
