YEP!!!!! you heard me right cher will be releasing her 26th new album "CLOSER TO THE TRUTH"..the first released single Womans world is not bad at all...check it out!!!!!..this would be a hit for women at karaoke!!!!
How would you rate this song??

If you want me to get excited about a release make it Alter Bridge, or Sabbath, or Zeppelin getting off the No Fly List and releasing their entire catalog on Karaoke. THAT would get me excited.

I actually like this track. Much better than the Lady GaGa "Applause" single. But it just isn't karaoke singer music IMO. It is a dance anthem, not a karaoke song.

I have to disagree with this statement I have been playing chers new single and people asking me if its out on karaoke yet..IMO..when it does come out in karaoke it will be a hit with the ladies!!!

It might be a hit until a few people try to sing it and realize that it doesn't work for karaoke. Anything with repetitive lyrics like that grows old very quickly.

You must have a VERY dedicated new song group. It's very rare I ever have ANYONE even remotely ask if a new song is available for karaoke the second they hear it. Usually it needs to be a radio hit for a little while (few months) at least.

Just saw Cher on Dancing with the stars last night..although Im not a fan of the show it was great to see cher and hear some of her music

I'm wondering if it will take a bit of time for the people who usually sing Cher to catch on to her new music. Her older songs still get sung at just about every show. But I have the same thing going with other long term artists. They will sing all of Merle Haggard's old stuff and not be aware of his new songs. The exception would be that those who sing old Johnny Cash do sing "Hurt" but for the most part the older people who like older artists seem oblivious to their new work.
