Which songs? MOST of these haven't been released anywhere - I know 4 of these are available, 3 are on All Star, 1 from SBI. Most would define that the majority are already out.

I'm looking forward to singing songs: 2. 3. 6. and 8. I don't have those yet. I listened to them on youtube and they sound like fun songs to sing.

Pop Hits Monthly used to have a ROCK line of discs. There is a very good reason why they don't any longer. Hardly anybody bought them. Maybe someday you'll realize that your favorite kind of music to sing is not the favorite type of music sung at your average everyday karaoke venue. This particular thread was, in fact, about a particular COUNTRY disc and your Neanderthalic response is "no more country" music on the country disc. F***ing Duh!

EDIT: Typos corrected for the Benefit of Mister Kite.

WOW, aren't YOU an Arrogant S.O.B.!!! BTW, what is Karakoe??? Never heard of it. PHM put out rock discs, yeah. Most of the music on those discs sucked arse. The songs were stuff nobody knew or cared about.

It's called a typo. I make lots of them .... but most people sing ballads at karaoke and most COUNTRY discs have COUNTRY music on them.

You, mister caveman, are in the minority when it comes to the typical karaoke singer. Karaoke manufacturers will never cater to your wants and desires because there just aren't that many of you out there, while there are thousands and thousands of people who enjoy singing COUNTRY music at karaoke bars.

There may be ONE bar out of a hundred karaoke bars where your style of ROCK music is the most common type of music sung. It's all about supply and DEMAND and there is just not enough DEMAND for the stuff you keep requesting. That is why your requests fall mostly on deaf ears. Sorry Charlie! That's why I will always have more song choices to sing than you will. Why don't you scream us something to listen to on the Singer's Showcase. I'd love to give it a listen.

I sing plenty of ballads, just not Country ballads. I don't just scream, and neither do the bands I like. The thing I don't understand is why you are being so hostile about this. I'm a Rocker. I always have been, always will be, but I also like Blues, Classical, and some Jazz. I would love to see more Blues on Karaoke, too. Sorry I am not some sort of hick that wants to sing about my tractor!!

As for screaming, your favorite singer has screamed in plenty of his songs, and he doesn't sound half as good as Rob Halford!!!

As for what I request, IF any of those songs get made, I will be happy. If not, oh well. Zoom is putting out Rock, and so is the SBI group. One of the songs I would love to see on Karaoke is In Loving Memory by Alter Bridge. It is one of the most moving rock ballads you could ever hear, let alone sing. So before getting hostile with me, know WTF you are talking about, first!!! Thank you, have a nice day!!

Trust me, I know there is plenty of demand for Rock. I am originally from Long Island. There are PLENTY of Rockers up that way. I live in Country Hell right now, but even here I have a few Rockers. I have one guy that sings RHCP, Radiohead, Staind, Creed, Metallica, and Stone Sour, to name a few.

Brucefan is telling me that I have no choices on what to sing, as if I have been singing Karaoke for the last couple of months. I have been singing Karaoke since a girl I was dating introduced me to it back in 1994. I sing everything from Iron Maiden and Whitesnake to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. I'll do Floyd to Matthews, Sabbath to Dead, Joe Bonamassa to Maroon 5, Righteous Brothers to Meatloaf, and many more.

I get NO new rock requested - especially Kiss, most of the musician singers that come to my shows think any new Kiss are a joke, however I DO get LOTs of 80's, 90's & early 2000's rock/metal/alternative that get requested that has NEVER been tapped by any manu.

There are many kinds of GOOD Music out there and everyone likes what they like.. Just because someone doesn't like COUNTRY MUSIC; it doesn't make Country Music a bad thing. It's kind of assinine to go to a thread about the newest Country Song releases and SCRREAM OUT: "NO MORE COUNTRY".

I'm not a BIG fan of Show Tunes but I don't go looking for a thread about Show Tunes and start SCREAMING: "NO MORE SHOW TUNES"!!! When I see a thread about Show Tunes, I usually don't click on it. Once again, SUPPLY and DEMAND will decide what gets made and what doesn't get made into karaoke tracks.

I can see the Empire State Building from the town I live in so I don't think I live anywhere near a tractor or a farm, and yet, I haven't heard a Judas Priest song sung at karaoke. EVER!!! The difference is that I don't care if ZOOM or any other karaoke producer decides to make a disc wiith every song that your heart desires. I won't be looking for a thread about ZOOM's latest ROCK disc and SCREAMING OUT: "NO MORE ROCK"!!! DO YOU KNOW WHY? It's because I believe in musical diversity. Some people don't like Elvis. Some people don't like Sinatra. Some people don't The Beatles and there are even some people, believe it or not, who don't like Springsteen. Vive la difference!

The only time I recall hearing "BREAKING THE LAW BREAKING THE LAW" was on an episode of Beavis and Butthead a very long time ago.

At least I have an open mind. I actually listened to "In Loving Memory" by Alter Bridge and liked it enough to make my own karaoke track for it. I had to use some vocal removal software to get out the original vocals but it came out pretty well. I also downloaded a couple of acoustic guitar versions of the song on Youtube but they didn't seem to match up timing wise with the original so I couldn't just swap the audio tracks and get the lyric swipes to match up. Maybe I'll give it another shot when I'm more familair with te song.

Lead singer of STAIND is now making more hits singing Country Music. Open minds are the best kind of minds. Closed minded people never grow.

To quote a great song: "I sing tonight because it comforts me"

I HATE JP's version of Johnny B Goode!! I would love to see Blood Red Skies go Karaoke!! That is the BEST song on Ram It Down, IMHO. Painkiller would be fun to sing, too.
