I was inform by STAGE STARS that they will be releasing the broadway musical "ONCE UPON A MATRESS" soon. The only downside is that there will be no on screen lyrics...just thought some of you broadway lovers out there would like to know.

They probably weren't granted the rights to produce the CD+G, but were able to get the rights to produce it as a CD. I've seen that happen on a few of the Pocket Songs discs over the years too ("Into the Woods" is one of them).

I think pocketsongs/stagestars has pretty much given up on producing actual CD+G versions, due to the cost involved of the sync rights.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they have produced a single NEW broadway musical in karaoke/cd+g format in the last two years

The last Broadway musical in CD+G format that Pocket Songs came out was NEXT TO NORMAL...for Stage Stars was Urinetown
Its sad because there are Broadway shows I would love to have in Karaoke format...Hands On A Hardbody....Nunsense....Pumpboys And Dinnettes...Billy Elliot...Stop The World I Want To Get Off...to name a few
