I was inform by STAGE STARS that they will be releasing the broadway musical "ONCE UPON A MATRESS" soon. The only downside is that there will be no on screen lyrics...just thought some of you broadway lovers out there would like to know. |

They probably weren't granted the rights to produce the CD+G, but were able to get the rights to produce it as a CD. I've seen that happen on a few of the Pocket Songs discs over the years too ("Into the Woods" is one of them). |

I think pocketsongs/stagestars has pretty much given up on producing actual CD+G versions, due to the cost involved of the sync rights. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they have produced a single NEW broadway musical in karaoke/cd+g format in the last two years -James |

The last Broadway musical in CD+G format that Pocket Songs came out was NEXT TO NORMAL...for Stage Stars was Urinetown Its sad because there are Broadway shows I would love to have in Karaoke format...Hands On A Hardbody....Nunsense....Pumpboys And Dinnettes...Billy Elliot...Stop The World I Want To Get Off...to name a few |
