I remember back in the day when the monthly releases always seemed to be ahead of the game. I remember getting December releases in early November. Now the new releases are falling way behind. All Star hasn't released any new discs yet for 2014. Latest one I see is ASK1312B. Same thing goes for Karaoke Cloud and of course Pop HIts Monthly RYOK. You would think that the RYOK tracks would be out earlier than any other compnay since they don't seem to have to wait for licensing or having their graphcs rendered? I guess they are waiting until they get their Beethoven software straightened out? Lots of good new songs out there on the radio but they're not making their way to the karaoke world as quickly as they used to. The companies like Karaoke Version, BKD and SBI seem to playing the part of the early bird these days. Thank god someone is trying to get that worm.

BASTIAT'S SILENCE IS DEAFENING. February 7th and still counting... but in RYOH/PHM defense; both ASK and KCDC seem to have also dropped the ball.

I believe the PHM fellow and yes, even SC, when they say that the publishers are making it difficult for them to be competitive. If you notice, even All Star has slowed down and while DTE does have some current hits, they aren't those mega-hits that everyone is going outside the US to obtain. I wonder if they are kicking themselves on the timing of putting out all those Justin Biebers right now. Or at least maybe they want to kick the Bieber.

So I don't believe it is incompetence on their part as I bet they would love to sell us the songs we want. It is just looking like either too many are on the no fly list or they want an impractical amount of money or else they are putting terms on the contracts that are difficult to meet.

Then look at how they are trying to restrict the imports and have the overseas companies block US IPs. If this keeps up then we will really have something to whine about. And it doesn't just affect new music. It gets more difficult to find some of those classics people are requesting unless you want to pay a premium for a disc or set just to get one or two songs.
