So Mister Travolta makes an honest mistake and people just can't seem to keep in the spirit of the song title and just "LET IT GO"? Seems a little ironic to me.

My analysis:

1.My Love Route 94 feat. Jess Glynne dunno
2.Tsunami (Jump) - - DVBBS & Borgeous feat. Tinie Tempah dunno
3.Word Up - - Little Mix ABOMINABLE that they have slaughtered this classic. Charity is no excuse, remember how One Direction last year raped two classic punk songs and passed the resulting bile off for Comic Relief. Plus, aren't Little Mix the group responsible for doing terrible things to Fauré's Pavane? Clearly no-one's learned from Janet Jackson about how not to combine pop and classical music.
4.Money On My Mind - - Sam Smith this one's okay actually
5.Into The Blue - - Kylie Minogue I like Kylie but OH What a Tedious Song...
6.Shine My Shoes - - Robbie Williams dunno, he can be hit or miss, bit of a hard one to call
7.Nasty - - Pixie lott She released a fantastic song, a couple of okay songs and the rest are pretty rubbish. Don't have high hopes for this.
8.Magic - - Coldplay Alright, but nothing special
9.Compass - - Sam Bailey Not heard it, but let's hope it's a move away from that manufactured x-factor tripe
10.Wild Wild Love - - Pitbull feat. G.R.L. dunno, but not big on hip hop anyway
11.Empire - - Shakira pot luck on this too
12.Red Lights - - Tiesto Never heard of them
13.Let Go For Tonight - - Foxes ditto
14.Stupid Love - - Jason Derulo Never really cared for him
15.Can't Rely On You - - Paloma Faith Dunno. But she has a good track record at least
16.Flaws - - Bastille They are okay
17.Let It Go - - Idina Menzel Who?
18.Best Day Of My Life - - American Authors eh?

I won't be buying this immediately. To be fair I dislike most of what's in the charts at any given time.

AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHY NOBODY KNOWS WHO THE HELL SHE IS.

Maybe when she has been a MAINSTREAM TV and MOVIE Star for over 30 years; people will know how to pronounce her actual name.

Broadway is NOT Mainstream. It's a niche market for a very small part of society.

John Travolta is from Jersey. I'm sticking up for him, even if no one else will.

After cue mentioned that she was in glee, then I knew who she was, but I had definately never heard the name before

And there are many Actors and Actresses who I don't know their names. And, some of them have been "Mainstream" for years, but I just didn't recognize them. You could mention someone's name, and I might ask you, "What might I have seen him or her in?", and when you respond with some of their credits, I might recognize them... just like James recognized Idina Menzel once I mentioned "Glee."

It's not like he didn't know how to say Barbra Streisand's name. This girl is a relative nobody in Hollywood. Maybe not now that she has won an Oscar but a lot of people had no idea who she was. Personally, I've never seen Wicked or a single episode of Glee. I can't be the only one.

And yet there are still many Celebrities and Reporters out there who mispronounce Barbra's name as "Bar-bar-a" (and she has jumped on that in less than a heartbeat to correct them). But really now, Idina Menzel may be relatively unknown, but how do you get "Adele" out of Idina or "Zadeem" out of Menzel... NOT EVEN CLOSE!!! That's not even a mispronunciation.

It's obvious that there was no recognition of this young lady, in the mind of John Travolta. Even if he would have seen a picture of her, he wouldn't have had a clue as to who she was. Travolta has been an A-List celebrity for decades. A household name even. The name Idina doesn't exactly roll off the tongue like Cher or Madonna. In Travolta's world, she was nothing but a D-Lister who wasn't worthy of the time that it would take to commit her name to memory. She has received more notoriety from John's mistake than she deserves, IMHO.
